Welcome television lovers!  First let me say you are some of America’s finest. 

Here’s how TV Monger works.   Simply put, this site is a celebration of that wildly brilliant invention we like to call television.  Some like to call it the “boob tube”; we don’t like those people.  TV Monger exists as an “open blog” for fans like you who feel the pressing need to rant and rave about what those network execs are tossing our way.  Feel free to recap episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8, theorize about the Lost island, or talk about how being subjected to the life and times of Tori Spelling should be considered a crime against humanity.  Talk about whatever you want.

It helps if you are already familiar with blogging on a Wordpress platform.  TV Monger will not be providing any kind of Wordpress training; no time, busy busy.  If you can boil an egg, chances are good you can write a post on this blog.  If you decide to upload a picture, for the love of god, make sure it’s not under strict copyright.*  Finally, don’t write novels.  Keep it brief, make it smart, add some humor.  Once you hit “submit” your post will undergo a brief proofread and then your wisdom will be posted for all to enjoy.  Keep in mind, the administrator has the power to delete the profile below, so please don’t take it upon yourself to permanently sabotage this little experiment in blogging.  Click on the appropriate Category for your post and use tagging as you wish.
